This two year old was TOO cute!  She kept telling me "Lets find another spot!", and was full of giggles for the whole photoshoot.  She kept the photoshoot lively and very fun!

These are just tossed together to show the family!  I'm out of town, and missing my CS3 - I only have access to my old Elements program.  

The location was someone's AMAZING backyard.  Perfect for photographing gorgeous families like this one!

This family was gorgeous, and SO pleasant to photograph.  Looking at their sweet faces, you'd never guess it was windy and COLD.   I hope they have a safe trip home after their vacation here!

I ♥ Faces: Fix-It Friday #5

This is not a photo I took.  This is from I ♥ Faces - a really cool photography blog I stumbled across early this week.  Today is their "Fix-It Friday" ... they post a picture that needs help, then we get to play in photo editing.  

Here's the before, and MY after:

I use Adobe PhotoShop CS3 for my editing.  I didn't change the crop of this photo, because I already loved the composition.  I saw the original, and began to imagine what he was looking at.  So I stuck with simplicity, just accentuating the original, without taking from the integrity of the composition. 

If I get bored with tidying the house later, I'll come back and show some more edits.  If YOU get bored, check out other's cool edits on this same photo HERE!

Taking a break ... and came up with this ... it's not great, but I feel guilty for leaving the dishes ... at least, I *should* feel guilty and hurry back to them.

I may be able to get other people's children to smile sweetly and naturally, but sadly, my own children know all my tricks. Luckily, my good sport of a husband was there to dance like an ape right behind me as I snapped the pictures, LOL!

2009 Senior!

This was a fun shoot - her mom and sister came along, and I kept giggling as they helped her smile "just right".  It worked - she is one gorgeous senior!  Unfortunately we lost sunlight way too quickly, so you'll see more of this beauty this weekend (aren't her blue eyes amazing?!)

This cutie invited me to go shopping for clothes first, since I'm a "famous" photographer.  Talk about making me feel special!  This was one of my top photo-shoots ever.  I hope this Birthday-Girl felt like a STAR today - she was definitely sparkling for the camera!

Senior Beauty

Talk about a good sport!  This gorgeous 2009 Senior was in town on a weekend of rain, wind, and cold, and still was all beautiful smiles!  Can I just say that the fourth picture makes me think of "Bella" from the Twilight series (((sigh!)))  I hope that her Senior year is wonderful!

The Prom

Aren't his sparkling eyes priceless?  This handsome cutie is my nephew, headed off to his senior Prom.

My life is complete!  I am now the proud owner of PS CS3 (giggle!)  It's so wonderful, I'm absolutely giddy.  For your enjoyment, a bit of sweet-baby-chub eye candy (sigh).  I can't believe it's been six months since I took this photograph - this little guy was only 5 months old then!  I couldn't believe that he could be any cuter - but PS CS3 brought even more of the sweet cuteness out!
